Daily Sketch No.176 Umbrellas of Piazza Napoleone, Lucca, Tuscany

This morning I was in Lucca for the first meet-up of the Lucca Sketchcrawl group. This was the first demonstration sketch produced, a relatively simple composition as Lucca has many complicated buildings, shops and churches to frustrate the novice sketcher. A year-long project to produce a sketch everyday documenting the landscape of the medieval hilltop town of Barga in Northern Tuscany and wherever else I may be during this sketching project. All sketches are original and usually on watercolour paper or heavy duty cartridge paper. Most of the sketches are A4 size (297 x 210mm) and they can be supplied either UNMOUNTED or MOUNTED in an off white acid free board 75mm (3") wide mount.with backing board.
