Daily Sketch No.5 Villa Biondi near Barga, Tuscany

This is the beautiful old Villa Biondi just outside Barga which is a Bed & Breakfast. I loved the box hedging leading up to the front entrance and the cast shadows of the trees on the faded facade. Sketched around 5pm.

A year-long project to produce a sketch everyday documenting the landscape of the medieval hilltop town of Barga in Northern Tuscany and wherever else I may be during this sketching project. All sketches are original and usually on watercolour paper or heavy duty cartridge paper. Most of the sketches are A4 size (297 x 210mm) and they can be supplied either UNMOUNTED or MOUNTED in an off white acid free board 75mm (3") wide mount.with backing board.
